Haunted House and Friendly Ghost Freebie

Wow, Halloween is just days away!  This means I will have to get my November things out soon!  I don't know about you, but I love Halloween and dressing up, decorations, spooky stories, candy, and fun... but teaching on Halloween is NO treat.  The kids are all wound up. They ask if it is time for the party, every 10 minutes.  And helping 20 kinders get into full costume is a chore!  Here are a couple of treats to get you through the Halloween week!

If you like the treats, please follow my blog and TPT store.

Halloween Color By Number Teen Number Fun

My kinders are ready for work on teen numbers.  I love to call these number the "tricky teens."
They really can be tricky!!!  I make these cute little Frank and his bride, coloring pages to work on.  I thought it would be really cute to have my boys color the Frank page, and let my girls do the Bride of Frank page, and then I can hang them in my classroom!

Fall Cats and Giveaway

I  read one of my favorite Halloween books this past week...Scaredy Cat Splat.  My kinders love Splat Books almost as much as they love Pete the Cat.  I hope there will be a Pete the Cat Halloween book for next year!

For art this week we did sketched some cats with pencil, then traced them with crayon.  Later we watercolored.  I just love how their little personalities shine through in their art work!

We wrote about our cats for writing this week.
